Dep. Chief (Ret.) Dean Goodwin, EML, MS, is the Executive Director of RMA’s Rubicon Leadership Institute (RLI). He earned an executive master’s in Leadership from Georgetown School of Business and a second master’s from Virginia Tech in Adult Learning & HRD. He is a national facilitator in leadership and has worked with Franklin-Covey as a leadership consultant. He is certified in both MBTI I&II and LEA suite of leadership assessments from Management Research Group. United States Marine Corps Desert Storm veteran.

Susan Hupp, MA, is in charge of client support for RMA. In her early career, she was Manager of Cabin Safety for a major airline. Later, she was a Vice President for three global businesses. She has done risk management training and consulting work in 12 countries, on 6 continents, and with some of the highest-end Fortune 500 companies. Amidst all that, she took a time-out to serve as a Peace Corps volunteer in Africa. Her Master’s Degree is in Experiential Education.

Thomas Maddox, MBA, PhD (ABD) heads RMA’s business development function. He spent a stellar career with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department where, after service in patrol and detention, he worked for many years as a detective, then also for years in its advanced training unit, specializing in leadership training. His completed PhD coursework is in organizational leadership. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served as a crypto-linguist.

Capt. (Ret.) Greg Seidel, BA, FBI NA-214, has been with Randy Means for 20 years as head of policy design and head of the IMPACT Project, a national initiative to heighten human relations skills in law enforcement officers. He spent 25 years with an extraordinarily active Virginia police department where he eventually led Professional Standards, SWAT Teams, and Patrol and Investigative Divisions. His decorations include the Combat Cross and the Purple Heart.
